Whilst this may seem an attractive option financially (you tend to get a higher volume of body serum compared to a facial serum), I wouldn’t recommend it, as it is highly unlikely you will get your desired results.
The skin on our faces and on our bodies is very different - not only is there a significant disparity in the thickness of the top layer of our skin (which affects how well products penetrate the skin), our faces tend to be far more sensitive, especially for those prone to acne or eczema. Body care products are formulated with the thicker skin on our bodies in mind: the levels of actives, their form, their fragrance and their contents will all differ to those that we apply to our faces - meaning: at best you won’t see the skin you’re hoping for, and at worst you could see a breakout or redness and flaking.
As such, I always recommend searching specifically for products that are designed to treat specific concerns in specific places, to truly make a difference to your skin.
