A lifelong beauty consumer, a trusted wellness advocate and one of the world’s leading dermatologists, Dr Alexis has nearly twenty years of clinical experience across two continents.

Originally from New York City, Dr Alexis relocated with her family to the UK in 2012, becoming the first dual US/UK certified dermatologist. Her comprehensive and compassionate approach to skin health quickly established Dr Alexis as one of the most in-demand practitioners in London, with a list now closed to new patients.

Dr Alexis has served as a brand ambassador across a broad portfolio of L'Oréal brands over the past decade. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (BCDG) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). She also serves on the Advisory Board of the British Beauty Council.

All Joonbyrd products are vegan. We do not use animal-derived ingredients such as beeswax, honey or lanolin in any of our formulations.

Daydreamer Body Serum contains barley extract and is not gluten-free. All other products are manufactured from ingredients that do not contain gluten. Please note our products are produced in a mixed facility, so we cannot guarantee that any one product is free from traces of gluten.

• Violet Haze Body Scrub contains shea nut butter and coconut oil which may cause a reaction in people who are allergic to tree nuts.
• Sunday Sofa Body Butter contains shea nut butter which may cause a reaction in people who are allergic to tree nuts.
• Daydreamer Body Serum contains almond oil which may cause a reaction in people who are allergic to tree nuts.

Please note all Joonbyrd products are produced in a mixed facility, so we cannot guarantee that any one product is free from traces of nuts.

Unless otherwise specified, Joonbyrd products have an unopened shelf-life of 36 months post manufacture. Once opened, the period for optimal freshness and efficacy is indicated by the open lid jar symbol on each product (the period after opening, or PAO). For example, a PAO of 12M means the product is best used within 12 months after opening.

As a brand, we have consciously chosen not to use the word ‘clean'. With no regulation around the term within the beauty industry, we often find it creates confusion and unnecessary concern. Quality, science-backed formulation is at the heart of everything we do at Joonbyrd.

Before any product reaches the market, it must undergo a detailed safety assessment and toxicological review conducted by an independent, qualified agency. Our products are also dermatologically tested, user and clinical trial tested and are sulfate, paraben, phthalate and microplastic free.

Joonbyrd products are safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For further medical advice and more specific guidance, we recommend speaking with your doctor directly.

We are very disappointed to hear that you've had a reaction to one of our products. All Joonbyrd formulas have been independently dermatologically tested, and deemed non-irritating, so it is likely that you have an allergy or sensitivity to one or more of the ingredients. We recommend that you stop all product use, and contact your doctor or dermatologist to investigate. We would like to hear more about your reaction, so please reach out to the team at customercare@joonbyrd.com.

Any claims related to delivery need to be made within 14 working days of the proof of delivery receipt. Please reach out to the team by emailing customercare@joonbyrd.com with your name and order number so we can assist.

We hope your Joonbyrd products bring you as much joy as they bring us. However, if for any reason you change your mind, you can return your products within 28 days of receipt, free of charge. Please note that for hygiene reasons we can only accept unopened and unused items in their original packaging for returns, and in the same condition that you received them, unless faulty. We cannot accept partial returns for items that were purchased as part of a set or bundle. We can only accept returns on orders placed directly on joonbyrd.com. Gift Cards and Lucky Charms are final sale.

To initiate the free returns process, please reach out to customercare@joonbyrd.com. Please include your name and order number. Once received and inspected, we will issue a full refund (minus initial shipping costs) to your original form of payment within 3 business days. Depending on your financial institution, your credit may take a further 7-10 business days to appear on your bank statement.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to support online product exchanges.
